Dear Church

JOURNEY PART 2

Ps Linda gave a great message on Sunday – recapping our journey with God this year. It has been a journey that probably, most of us, if known before hand, would have gone, “WHAT?” But, you know what I have seen? We, his Body, have risen to the challenge. We may feel weak or insignificant, but we have got through this winter season in our church and we are beginning to RISE UP to what God has for us. Well done, good and faithful servants! My question to you, to me, would be – have we cleaned up all that needs to be done before we embrace the new season we go into? I have learnt, as I am sure that many of you have – you can’t runaway from your baggage or personal issues – you take them with you. My prayer, is that we all embrace this journey, however uncomfortable, that we are in, and ‘clean the slate in 08.” As Ps Linda stated, God wants to come in and re-arrange, touch, clean, build and teach us how to be more devoted to Him. We have a choice to either push Him away, or abandon ourselves to the journey.

Change isn’t going to be comfortable. Change isn’t always going to be welcome. But we can trust in the Author of change. That He brings it about so that He can be more glorified in our lives. So that we will become more who we are to be and live lives totally full for him. Living lives to the full of our potential. Learning to give ourselves totally to God, because He is who He is and we are created to wholly worship Him. That’s the point of change. Are you up for it? I think so!

Let us rise up together and take on the challenge of going on a journey.

Knowing the only thing we know – is that He is with us.

Bless you.
